Health care practice analytics provider prepares for increased national presence

Joel Wood has been named Chief Financial Officer, Steve Zabriski has joined as Vice President of Analytics, and Michele Story is the Company’s Director of Marketing.

Most recently, Mr. Wood was a venture capitalist and a General Partner at Delta Capital Management, responsible for managing many of the firm’s healthcare investments. Prior to that, he was a Vice President in the Medical Technologies investment-banking group of Dain Rauscher Wessels (now RBC Capital Markets), concentrating on health care information technology and medical device companies. Mr. Wood was also a Vice President with Stephens Inc., where he focused on technology and health care companies and in the investment-banking group of Morgan Keegan & Company, Inc. He received a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering degree with High Honor (magna cum laude) from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
has extensive experience in pharmacy, specialty pharmacy and pharmacy benefits management. As Vice President of Analytics, he applies his knowledge and innovative analytic techniques to help RemitDATA clients understand their business dynamics and recognize opportunities for improvement. Mr. Zabriski’s career includes leadership roles in data analytics, clinical services, informatics, operations, health care information technology and product development. Prior to joining RemitDATA, he was Director, Product Development for McKesson Specialty, a division of McKesson Corporation, where he successfully launched innovative industry leading analytic tools used by the nation’s largest payer organizations to measure, manage and control specialty biotech drug costs. Prior to McKesson, he was the Vice President of Product Development for AdvancePCS (now CVS/Caremark). He also spent several years at ExpressScripts where he developed and deployed some of the leading analytic and reporting tools in the PBM industry. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the University of Wyoming and an MBA from Arizona State University.
has a depth of experience in marketing and customer acquisition in the health care arena, with specific focus in market analysis and the deployment of direct marketing, web marketing, advertising and promotions. In her role as Director of Marketing, she is responsible for elevating the visibility, performance and profitability of RemitDATA’s key products through marketing campaigns and programs as well as supporting sales, community and partner development efforts with lead generation and partner marketing directives. Michele comes to RemitDATA from the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America where, as the Central Development Director, she led efforts to develop and identify new business opportunities and promote brand recognition. Before that, she was Marketing Director for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society where she directed and developed all marketing initiatives including brand recognition, lead generation, market analysis and partnership development. Michele holds a Bachelors of Science degree from Bradley University and a Masters degree from Texas Woman’s University.
