2005 Another Record Year for Fuego

Company Grew GAAP License Revenue 172%, Secured Numerous Fortune 500 Customers, Expanded Global Presence and Received Numerous Product Accolades in 2005

PLANO, Texas - January 18, 2005 – Fuego®, the thought leader in agile business process management (BPM) solutions, today announced that it has achieved 172 percent GAAP license revenue growth for fiscal 2005 as compared to 2004. The company also announced that total GAAP revenue for the year increased by 112 percent over 2004 and bookings and backlog more than tripled. Fuego pointed to the continued success of FuegoBPM™, its award-winning product, as well as the global expansion of its distribution network as the primary reasons for the significant number of new enterprise-level customers in 2005. Additionally, the company expanded its installation footprint within numerous existing customers.

“The continued shift from proprietary departmental process solutions to interoperable enterprise-class BPM platforms has served us well,” said Jon Lauck, president and CEO, Fuego. “Some of the largest companies in the world are selecting FuegoBPM to complement their next generation architectures due to our standards-based interoperability, enterprise-level performance, small footprint and value-based pricing.”

Expanded Client Base
During 2005, Fuego again added more than 50 new enterprise clients to its growing customer base. Fuego customers now include some of the largest and most respected companies in their industries, including Aracruz, BHP Billiton, BP, First Horizon Home Loans, Sallie Mae, Southwest Airlines, United Healthcare and others. Each of these customers selected and deployed FuegoBPM as their platform of choice for achieving continuous process improvement.

As a testament to Fuego’s BPM product and strategy, a leading global financial services company awarded Fuego with its largest single order in the company's history in the fourth quarter. Additionally, four of Fuego’s customers presented their BPM usage and successes in a case study session at the premiere of Gartner’s Business Process Management Summit held in Arlington, Va., on June 6-7, 2005.

Increased Global Presence
Fuego further expanded the reach of its global sales, marketing and customer service functions throughout Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Latin America in 2005. Fuego entered into original equipment manufacturer (OEM) relationships with Plumtree Software (now BEA Systems), Metavante Corporation, Nexagent, Xtria and Cadtel, and expanded its strategic relationships with key systems integrators such as Perot Systems, CSC, and others. In addition, Fuego added reseller, implementation and support capabilities through partnerships with Selesta S.p.A (Italy), NetCB (S. Moving Forward
Fuego announced a roadmap for certifying FuegoBPM’s connectivity with leading independent application and infrastructure software vendors in April 2005. Since that time, Fuego has announced that it has certified connectivity between FuegoBPM and more than 15 vendor products, including technologies from BEA Systems, EMC, IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, and Tibco. Through Fuego’s “Integrated Integration,” connectivity is now fully managed to each of these technologies as part of the core FuegoBPM product. With these certifications, Fuego is committed to making enterprise-wide business process management easier for customers than ever before.
